Campus size

Asia Society’s campus size is 40,000 square feet, spread over two stories and basement. It features the Brown Foundation Performing Arts Theater, Fayez Sarofim Grand Hall, Louisa Stude Sarofim Gallery, Edward Rudge Allen III Education Center, the Ting Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Foundation Green Garden, the Durga D. and Sushila Agrawal Reflective Water Garden Terrace, and North Gallery.

Paid parking

Available in Asia Society’s parking lot, located directly across Southmore Boulevard from the Center, accessible along Caroline and Austin Streets.

Cost $7 ($10 festival rates)

Street parking

Metered street parking available on Caroline, Southmore, and Austin.

Accessibility

For guests with limited mobility: A wheelchair is available at Guest Services at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchair-accessible seating is available for all programs and events, and accessible parking spots are located in the lot near the intersection of Southmore Boulevard and Austin Street.

For guests with low or limited vision: Text captions for exhibitions currently on view are available in large-font format and may be requested at Guest Services. Assistive Listening Devices and ASL interpretation are available for most programs and events, upon request with advance notice.

Service animals: Service animals that are trained to work or perform tasks for guests with disabilities are welcome. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered; if these devices are not in use, the guest must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other controls.

Prayer spaces: Designated prayer spaces are available during programs and events. Please inquire about prayer spaces at Guest Services.

Private event/tours

Designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Yoshio Taniguchi, Asia Society’s building embodies both Western and Japanese design, resulting in understated elegance and serenity.
